William’s Kassiopita

(Alevropita or Flour Pie)

William’s Kassiopita

In this recipe video William Dachris, the Grecian Purveyor, shares his family recipe for Kassiopita (flour pie). It is a simple preparation that you can make for an easy lunch or light dinner, served with a rustic Greek salad. The ingredients are few and mostly staples – flour, milk, eggs, and feta. To elevate the flavour of this humble pie, William uses the high quality gourmet ingredients Vassilakis Estate – My Olive Oil and Salt Odyssey – Natural Pure Fleur De Sel Sea Salt. You can purchase both of these from the Grecian Purveyor’s online store and have them delivered straight to your door – which is a bonus at these times of social isolation and safe social spacing.

I have made this pie a few times now for my family and everyone crowds around the pan the moment it comes out of the oven, vying for a piece or two or three… it’s that good!

William not only shares the preparation for this fabulous recipe on the video, he also shares his story of how he became the Grecian Purveyor, a dream that he held onto for almost 20 years. Watch now and get to know this winning recipe and William even more!
