Learn how to roll-your-own-fillo and change your life forever!!!
Join me in this online class and learn how to make and master fillo pastry using the plastri method (Greek rolling pin)… and make THE MOST CRISPY-CRUNCHY, LUSCIOUS AND DELICIOUS SPANAKOPITA EVER!
We will meet online at 8:30am to prepare our dough and meet each other. We will then take a break till 9:30am to allow our dough to rest. At 9:30am we will gather online again to make our fillo dusting mixture, our pita filling and then I will take you step-by-step through the fillo-making process.
You will then roll out 6 of your own fillo sheets. I will be there to trouble-shoot with you, answer any questions and continue to guide you. As you roll each sheet, your confidence and know-how will grow and your spanakopita will come to life.
You will need 1 pan – either one round baking pan approximately 40 – 42 cm in diameter or one rectangular baking pan approximately 35 x 40cm, and a Greek rolling pin that is approximately 90-95cm in length and 16mm in diameter (the rolling pin is actually curtain dowel that can by purchased from a hardware store – just call ahead to make sure the hardware store has cutting facilities so they can cut the dowel to your required length.

If you prefer not to cook along and simply watch the demonstration you can also do that.
The class will take place online via the Zoom application, so please make sure you familiarise yourself with this app prior to the class and that you have access to video via your phone, computer, iPad, tablet or laptop.
The ingredient/equipment list and Zoom link will be emailed to you when you purchase the class.
The class will not be recorded.
